Position: Protective Security Officer (PSO)
Location: New York City & Long Island Federal Facilities
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

About the Position
Alante Security Group, Inc. is seeking professional, dependable, and highly motivated Protective Security Officers to support federal government facilities throughout New York City and Long Island.
PSOs are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing a strong security presence and exceptional professionalism in high-profile government facilities.
Responsibilities
- Control access at federal facilities
- Conduct patrols and security inspections
- Operate magnetometers and X-ray screening equipment
- Respond to incidents and emergencies
- Complete activity logs and incident reports
- Enforce post orders and security procedures
- Maintain professional appearance and readiness standards
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid NYS Armed Guard License
- Current firearm license/permit
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening
- Prior military, law enforcement, or security experience
Additional Requirements
- CPR/First Aid/AED Certification preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Professional demeanor and customer service skills
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
